Stars Over Shadow are a Norfolk/Suffolk based four piece melodic rock band, taking influences from Coheed & Cambria, RX Bandits and Queen to name but a few. We formed in 2011 and spent most of our first year together writing, working on the idea that our songs would be linked by a science fiction storyline. The first seven tracks became our concept EP “Secrets of the Seventh Year", which we home recorded. Within half a dozen gigs we had played the Cambridge Rock Festival alongside prog rock legends Focus, and reached the final of the Back Stage promotions band competition. We are now gigging regularly across the whole of East Anglia and beyond. In 2012 we won the Beccles Carnival Battle of the Bands, and the following year took our rock to the Isle of Wight, with a slot at the V-Dub Island festival. We are now writing songs for the next instalment of our saga, and will be releasing a new single "Beneath These Skies" soon.
